Hampton Inn & Suites Harrisburg/North

Recently had an extended stay in this hotel and wish I could give them 10 stars. The staff is what makes this hotel great! From the manager to the lady in the laundry and everyone in between, I didn't meet one that wasn't pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Many have been there a long time and each credit their manager. They take pride in their work, and it shows. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. The breakfast is awesome! Wide variety of options, fresh fruit, juices and homemade waffles. My favorite was the turkey sausage as it was always cooked to perfection. The area is clean, replenished and the coffee is always fresh and hot. An extended stay can get old, but if you stay here, the staff will make it great!

Traveled to Harrisburg for a business trip and this hotel was just what the doctor ordered to help me relax after a long day. Tionna the hostess was soo pleasant and upbeat I really appreciate her kindness and navigating me through the area with my multitude of questions. The facility was clean and the gym and pool were exceptional. It would have been nice to have fruit as an option for breakfast to grab and go but other then that I strongly recommend this location.

We had such a great stay! Everything was clean, the environment was welcoming, and the staff was so kind. Britney was especially amazing and helped us out so much after we had a bad experience at another hotel. We’re so grateful and will definitely be back!

I can’t say enough good things about this Hampton Inn & Suites! Late at night I unexpectedly found myself in need of a hotel room, and they absolutely came to my rescue. From the moment I walked in, every single front desk staff member was kind, courteous, and ready to help without hesitation. Check-in was quick and effortless, and their warm welcome instantly eased my stress. The room was spotless, quiet, and comfortable. Everything you’d hope for when you need a safe, relaxing place on short notice. It’s rare to find a team that is both professional and genuinely caring, but the staff here exceeded every expectation. I will absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Harrisburg.

I will say I enjoyed my stay. however, the building needs an upgrade, inside and out. I love the location and how big my room was. the night time lady was amazing (Gina or alisha I belive was her name). the morning lady did not care that she had a line of people waiting. looked as if we bothered her when we were trying to check out. there wasn't enough food for breakfast when we arrived to eat. so maybe some improvement there. lastly, my bedroom was somewhat dirty. the sheet from the pull out bed looked as if it had not been changed from the last person and my bathroom had leaves in it and the couch had hair on it like a ball of someone's hair. anywho. I would stay here again, however I would like to see some things improve prior to spending my money there again.

Not my first time staying here. Great location. Large, clean, updated rooms. Fantastic staff! Casey at the front desk was simply extraordinary. He helped so much in fixing a small booking error that I made and got us into an accessible room which was perfect for my mom. He was a great representation of the Hampton/Hilton brand - friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in the area.

Just off 81 about a mile to drive there, but you can see the hotel from the interstate. Four stars instead of five because it looked like the tiled parts of the floor in the room (entry and bathroom) were mopped but had not been swept or vacuumed first. This left grit/detrious against entry wall and in corners of the bathroom. Not totally gross but disappointing to look at as it would otherwise have been a nearly spotless clean room. And this was a pet room, with NO pet smell. Hampton Inns know how to take care of pet rooms!

Great place. Staying here again in about 10 days. Great staff, clean rooms, pet friendly, easy access to the interstate…… No evening meal. But, you can pick something up or have it delivered and sit in the bar or dining area. Bar is open 5 to 10 PM with reasonable prices and numerous options. Very pleasant stay. Okay……. So it’s a little over a week later, we are passing through again and wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Checked in early and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We were upgraded to a suite for some reason and are very pleased. It’s Sunday night and the bar is closed, so we found a local wine shop to get a bottle for dinner. Convenient, just off the interstate, many dining options in the area and great service. Thanks folks. We will be back whenever we come through.
